The Greyhound Inn, Letcombe Regis has been recognised in the White Horse CAMRA awards at the Wantage Beer Festival as Country Pub of the Year 2017.
Following its reopening under new ownership as a freehouse in November 2015 after 2 years of closure, the pub has undergone a significant renovation and is now an open, welcoming place where locals and visitors alike can relax at the bar or lounge by the wood-burning stoves.
The owners and staff are delighted with this award and hope that it will inspire real ale fans to visit to try out the range of lovely beers. There is always a local ale on tap - the favourites include Butts, Ramsbury, Little Ox, West Berkshire Brewery and North Cotswold Brewery.
Beers are changed regularly to be able to provide a wide selection of interesting and seasonal ales to suit all tastes, and often feature guest breweries such as Oakham, Dark Star and Salopian.
Thanks must go to White Horse CAMRA for their support and recognition and we hope to welcome more members in the near future.
