David Salisbury Rides Again

27th April 2015

Categories: Blog

With May just around the corner, thoughts around Herfordshire and Buckinghamshire turn to lycra!!!!

Yes, it's the fifth Pedal of Honour on Saturday 16th May when David Salisbury, of Salisbury Pubs fame, will be cycling 52 miles between two Great Country Pubs, starting at the Alford Arms with bacon butties and finishing at The Royal Oak in Marlow for a well earned beer and BBQ.

En route the team will also be visiting The Russell Arms at Butlers Cross and Little Gems pub The Old Queens Head in Penn.

Pop along to one of these pubs on 16th May and show your support.

Last year, with 50 odd riders, David managed to raise an amazing £15,000 for the three great hospice charities that Salisbury Pubs support (Ian Rennie, Helen and Douglas House and The Hospice of St Francis).

This year they are looking to beat last year's total, which would be a fantastic sum that could help these charities a great deal. For more information and how to sponsor David and his pals on the journey to Marlow see
