The Feathered Nest, Nether Westcote

Truly beautiful nestled in the historic surroundings of Nether Westcote, the Feathered Nest has ale in its blood – its roots having grown from a Cotswold stone malthouse dating from around 1665. The building’s beauty is matched by views overlooking the Evenlode Valley, which can be fully appreciated from the delightful partially-covered terrace.

Inside is a large open-plan bar where a vast array of cask ales and wines are served from the glass fronted cellar. A split-level dining area decorated with imaginative touches creates the ideal atmosphere in which to enjoy the excellent food on offer. Daily blackboard specials coupled with an intriguing seasonal menu ensure that eating out here is never forgotten, whether it be indoors or alfresco.

Four individually decorated bedrooms furnished with antiques and comfortable beds provide fabulous accommodation, some with valley views and all with immaculate modern bathrooms. Additional comforts include fluffy bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. This real little cracker in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds makes the perfect place to kick-start your holiday or enjoy a weekend away.

The Feathered Nest Country Inn has many prestigious awards to its name, which include: 5 Star AA Highly Commended Inn; AA Pub of the Year (England) 2012; AA Notable Wine List Award and AA Breakfast Cup; and Cesar Award 2012 (Good Hotel Guide).
